Semhar Ghebremichael

A 2001 Grad was attending Marymount Manhattan College in the City. But, after getting a few great gigs from Master Insructors/ Choreographers/Directors and long time associates of Abby Lee Miller’s [who remembered her from the competition and convention circuit, when she was competing as a member of the ALDC and training in dance, voice and musical theater at The Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio] she couldn’t get the itch out of her system. So Sam started to audition and just landed a spot in the chorus of the Broadway Tour of “The Lion King”!!! I guess Daddy thought Garth Fagan and Walt, himself were not half bad people to work for? Currently in rehearsal now, the show will open soon in Chicago!!!

Update: Semhar is currently vamping it out West in the comedy success Monty Python’s SPAMALOT in the gorgeous new Wynn Las Vegas Theater designed for the show.
