A MASTER TAP CLASS W/ DAVID MANN David Mann is the founder of the new convention sensation The Shootout Dance Experience. David's innovative tap choreography has appeared on the national television shows "Good Morning America," "America's Got Talent," "America's Most Talented Kids," and most recently on the WE Network reality show "Little Miss Perfect." His choreography can also be seen in industrial performances for Hugo Boss, Paramount, Ingersal Rand and on board Celebrity, Holland America, Norwegian and Cunard Cruise Lines. You can also catch his choreography in the national tours of "Road to Victory," "On Tap" and most notably "Dr. Doolittle" starring Tommy Tune. Mann's recent awards include Dancer Magazine "Teacher of the Year" as well as "Teacher of the Year" by Kids Artistic Review. David's tap company DMANN TAP is set to to premiere a preview of its full length show "Beat Boyz" in Charlotte - 2010.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ALDC MEMBERS WHO TRAVELED TO NEW YORK CITY, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, AND LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA!
We started off with a fast but fabulous trip to Dance Educators of America in New York City where we captured several over-all High Score Cash Awards and 3 out of 4 Titles! Most of us were eager enough to catch a B'way Show - some were stunned when Mark Myars came out into the house at intermission to chat! Those dancers were taken back stage at the Marquis Theater on an impromtu tour after "Come Fly Away" and got to hear first hand how Mark was hired by Twyla Tharp! Our dedicated dancers conquered most of the country at DMA Nationals! Kudos to an amazing outcome for Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter #10 Title Representatives! Then our faculty and scholarship recipients tried their luck at WCDE - 2,000 people at a black tie dinner, Patti LaBelle singing live on stage, and hundreds of the most talented teachers in the country witnessed us beat the best of the best; Miranda was victorious up against Dancetown's, Larkin's, and Dance Precision's finest dancers. This was truly an amazing moment... most of those talented teachers in attendance are long time friends and colleagues. It is quite rewarding to walk through the Mirage hotel and be stopped 7 times from the Lobby to the Convention ballroom for a hug and accolades about my students from some of the most successful and respected dance teachers in the US and Canada! A bit overwhelming to say the least! I'd rather be smashed in a room with all of my kids so I can hear about their day and share my news... but, I had to hear about the Broadway Theatre Project at the University of Tampa, DEA's Ballet Intensive at UNLV, and the DMA Student Honors Program at Buffalo State University via texting and everyone else's phone! The long distance messages were always positive but, too far & few between. Our final stop, LA convinced everyone that technique from good old Penn Hills is still in demand! A big kiss from Travis Wall, whom I've known since he was a Mini, and Tyce DiOrio who used to be Keith when he won Mr. Dance of America, in addition to all the kisses & questions from all the pretty boys; Mark Meismer, Justin Giles, & Ray Leeper are just as gratifying as seeing how well my own alumni - Michelle, Katie, Danee, and Allie are doing on the west coast! I personally, got to enjoy a friends recital in Temecula, spotted Bob Sagat at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Kristen Cavalieri outside Marc Jacobs, got a kick out of the much publicized darling little "Single Ladies" taking my Legs & Feet Class, tried to sneak in to the Premier of Charlie St. Cloud, and watched a studio taping of America's Got Talent... Now - I am pretty convinced that we've got talent right here at Reign Dance Productions and I want to challenge any dance studio in the area - What did you do on your summer vacation? where did your teachers study? what did they learn? did they network? who did they meet? DANCE IS A LIVING ART ~ IT IS CONSTANTLY CHANGING AND EVOLVING! - 2 MORE DANCE MASTER'S KIDS ON THE RISE - Great to see Zach Benitas again - He is now Paula Abdul's asst on her new reality TV Show involving children and dance! Congrats to Kenny Wormald (He sat 2 chairs down from me when I judged for Jump and loved all my girls growing up at DMA) for landing the Kevin Bacon Role in Footloose - The new Movie!

A Student of my long time friend & DMA colleague - Joanne Chapman, she is trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip Hop! Welcome ~ Eileen Grace Reynolds Ballet, Tap, Jazz, The Rockette Experience, Musical Theater Eileen has appeared on Broadway in The Will Rogers Follies (original cast member and dance captain), 42nd Street, and in the international tour of My One and Only (with Tommy Tune). Her television credits include the Grammy Awards, the Tony Awards, One Life to Live, the Today Show, Good Morning America, Macy’s Parade, Christmas at Rockefeller Center, the Kennedy Center Honors, the Late Show with David Letterman, and Oprah. Grace’s choreography credits include, On Your Toes, Guys and Dolls, My One and Only (IRNE Award), Crazy for You (IRNE Award), The Will Rogers Follies (IRNE Award), Cabaret, Anything Goes, 42nd Street, Annie Get Your Gun (starring Andrea McArdle), Fiddler on the Roof, and the World Cup Opening Ceremonies. She was honored at Point Park as a Distinguished Alum in 2003 and inducted into the Dance Hall of Fame in Buffalo, NY. She performed at Radio City Music Hall, as the center Rockette in both casts for eight years. She choreographed the Rockette appearances on Jay Leno, Donnie and Marie, Oprah, the Columbus Day Parade, and the Today Show. She is the artistic director for the Nationwide Rockette Summer Intensive Program. Eileen is also the beautiful wife of Actor/ Paul Reynolds and the proud mother of twins!
