Hey Big M,
I heard some sad news about your health recently and I just wanted to take a moment to say how sorry I am to hear that you are sick. I wish I lived closer so I could come visit. I’m so glad I got to see you last year at the recital…you looked marvelous!
Watching Abby on TV every week has really brought back a lot of GREAT memories and I wanted to take a quick moment to tell say “Thank You” for being such a wonderful influence in my life. Now that I have grown up and become a parent myself, I realize how much my time at the studio and in the Abby Lee Dance Company molded me into the person I am today. Being a part of dance all those years taught me more life lessons than I could have ever imagined. I hear myself saying things to my kids ALL the time that I remember hearing from you, Salty or Abby. My childhood is full of WONDERFUL memories because of your studio. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my family and allowing us all to become such a part of your lives. I only wish I would have kept in touch better through the years, as I’ve really missed dance in my life.
I also want to thank you for also sparking a dance bug into my 11 year old son. Since we started watching Abby’s show, he decided he wanted take dance class and is now on a competition team. It’s like going back in time and it’s really made me miss dance more than ever. He has finally found something he loves and I owe it to your family!
Please know that I feel truly blessed to have had you as an instructor, a second “mom” and a friend. I wish I was there to give you a big hug and sing you the “Baby Duck” song or push you around in the Birthday Chair. lol!
You have blessed many people in your lifetime and have given me a lifetime of wonderful memories.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers always.
