Letter from Parent: Abby, Thank you for planting this seed (three years ago)! She has been researching this and looking forward to it for such a long time. It’s hard to believe that it has finally happened! Just the audition process last week would have been well worth the wait, but for her to be accepted is truly a huge step forward for her (do you see the faculty list)!!! It is also proof positive that what she has been learning for the past 13-1/2 years from you works beyond the walls of RDP! Slow and steady wins the race! Christine Ice

Dear Student, It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been selected to attend the 2009 session of this renowned training intensive. You will be joining the ranks of past BTP students who have performed in over 60 shows on Broadway, many film and TV projects and countless national and world tours. Your apprenticeship with BTP will be an essential step towards your future as an artist in the performance industry as you come into contact with some of the most accomplished people in the performing arts world.

Each day includes concentrated sessions from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with artists including prominent casting directors, choreographers, composers, directors, producers, writers and Tony, Emmy, and Drama Desk winning performers. This year’s faculty will include Artistic Director, Debra McWaters and Music Director, Mary Walkley as well as Jed Bernstein, Jay Binder, Charlotte D’Amboise, Pierre DuLaine, Nancy Dussault, Terrence Mann, Yvonne Marceau, Valentine Mayer, Ben Vereen, Frank Wildhorn, and Patrick Wilson to name only a few. Your apprenticeship will also include participation in performances to be presented during the first annual 2009 BTP Festival at the culmination of the program.
